Lay aside to put something on one side and not use it or think about it-সরিয়ে রাখা He laid aside his book and stood up.
Lay before to present something to someone.-কাউকে কিছু দেখানো The cat laid the mouse before her mistress.
Lay by an area at the side of a road where vehicles may pull off the road and stop.রাস্তার পাশের অল্প জায়গা যেখানে গাড়ী থামে a mooring area along a canal, river, or harbor.
Lay down to put something down or stop using it, to stop doing a job, etc.স্থির করা বা থামানো Both sides were urged to lay down their arms (= stop fighting).
Lay in to collect and store something to use in the future-ভবিষ্যতের ব্যবহারের জন্য সংগ্রহ ও সঞ্চয় করা They laid a lot of food in for the holidays.

Lay on to provide something for somebody, especially food or entertainment-কাউকে কিছু দেওয়া বিশেষ করে খাদ্য বা বিনোদন A bus has been laid on to take guests to the airport.
Lay out Spend money-টাকা ব্যয় করা They LAID OUT thousands of pounds on their wedding reception.
Lie down to be or get into a flat position, especially in bed, in order to sleep or rest-আরাম করে শুয়ে পরা He lay down on the sofa and soon fell asleep.
Leave on Not turn off-চালু রাখা LEAVE the TV ON; I want to hear the football results.
Leave out to not include or mention somebody/something in something-কাউকে কোন কিছুর মাঝে না রাখা Leave me out of this quarrel, please.
