If clause

if যুক্ত clause এর নিয়ম নিম্নরূপে হয়-
1. if clause যদি present simple tense তারপরে future tense হবে, যেমন- If you help me, I will help you.

2. if clause যদি past simple tense তারপরে would হবে, যেমন- If you knew her, you would agree with me.

3. if clause যদি past perfect tense তারপরে would/could/might have হবে,
যেমন- If you had helped me, I would have helped you.
He would have come to see us if he had been able to. তার পক্ষে সম্ভব হলে সে আমাদেরকে দেখতে আসত। (১০তম বিসিএস প্রিলিমিনারি)
