Voice Change: Interrogative Sentence

Interrogative sentence এর active voice কে passive voice এ রুপান্তর করার নিয়ম-

Rule-1
Interrogative sentence কে Assertive sentence এ রুপান্তর করে নিতে হবে তারপর রুপান্তরিত Assertive sentence এর active voice থেকে passive voice এ রুপান্তর করতে হবে এবার রুপান্তরিত passive voice কে Tense অনুসারে Interrogative করলেই হবে। এভাবে করলে জটিলতা কমে যায়।
যেমনঃ-
উদাহরণ-১
Active Interrogative: Have you eaten rice? তুমি কি ভাত খেয়েছ?
Active Assertive: You have eaten rice. তুমি ভাত খেয়েছ।
Passive Assertive: Rice has been eaten by you. তোমা কর্তৃক ভাত খাওয়ার কাজ সংঘটিত হয়েছে।
Passive Interrogative: Has rice been eaten by you? তোমা দ্বারা ভাত খাওয়ার কাজ কি সংঘটিত হয়েছে।
এখানে Rice, Third Person Singular তাই Have না বসে Has বসেছে।

উদারহরণ-২
Active Interrogative: Is he reading a book? সে কি বই পড়তেছে?
Active Assertive: He is reading a book. সে বই পড়তেছে।
Passive Assertive: A book is being read by him. একটি বই তার দ্বারা পঠিত হচ্ছে।
Passive Interrogative: Is a book being read by him? তার দ্বারা কি বই পঠিত হচ্ছে?

উদারহরণ-৩
Active Interrogative: Did you play football? তুমি কি ফুটবল খেলেছিলে?
Active Assertive: You played football. তুমি ফুটবল খেলেছিলে।
Passive Assertive: Football was played by you. ফুটবল খেলার কাজ তোমার দ্বারা সংঘটিত হয়েছিল।
Passive Interrogative: Was football played by you? ফুটবল খেলার কাজ কি তোমার দ্বারা সংঘটিত হয়েছিল?

Rule-2
Who যুক্ত active voice কে passive voice এ রুপান্তর করার নিয়ম-

Who এর পরিবর্তে By whom/ To whom/ With whom / at whome + tense ও person অনুযায়ী Auxiliary verb + object এর subjective form + অনেক সময় tense অনুযায়ী কর্তার পরে be/ being/ been বসাতে হয় + verb এর past participle form.

Active: Who is playing football?
Passive: By whom is football being played?
Active: Who will help me?
Passive: By whom will I be helped?
Active: Who know this?
Passive: To whom is this known?

Rule-3
Whom যুক্ত active voice কে passive voice এ রুপান্তর করার নিয়ম-
Whom এর পরিবর্তে who + tense ও person অনুযায়ী Auxiliary verb + verb এর past participle form + by + subject এর objective form.

Active: Whom did you see on the road?
Passive: Who was seen by you on the road?
Active: Whom has he murdered in this home?
Passive: Who is murdered by him in this home?

Rule-3
What/when/where/how/why যুক্ত active voice কে passive voice এ রুপান্তর করার নিয়ম-
WH গুলো অপরিবর্তিত অবস্থায় প্রথমেই থাকবে + tense ও person অনুযায়ী Auxiliary verb + verb এর past participle form + by + subject এর objective form.

Active: What do you want?
Passive: What is wanted by you?
Active: How can you do this?
Passive: How can this be done by you?
Active: Which book have you borrowed?
Passive: Which book has been borrowed by you?
Active: Why have you done this?
Passive: Why has this done by you?

উদাহরণ ও অনুশীলন

Active: Do you know them? তুমি কি তাদেরকে চেনো? (৩৯তম বিসিএস প্রিলিমিনারি)
Passive: Are they known to you? তারা কি তোমার কাছে পরিচিত?
ব্যাখ্যাঃ এখানে by এর পরিবর্তে to preposition বসেছে। কেননা know verb এর পর to বসে।
